The Brunch Bunch @ The Arc of King County

The Brunch Bunch is intended to be an opportunity for senior aged parents, siblings and extended family members of adults with intellectual/developmental disabilities to meet, enjoy a free continental breakfast but most importantly to meet with others who understand the unique experience of supporting and aging alongside a loved one with I/DD and share experiences. While not formally a “support group” the underlying purpose of this gathering is to create a safe space for these families to begin engaging in dialogue about the future as well as gain access to supports/resources before the family has reached a crisis.

We will be meeting the third Saturday of every month,  at The Arc of King County from 10am to 12pm.

Senior Family Caregiver Support Project/Brunch Bunch gathering has no explicit eligibility requirements – all self-identifying senior parents, siblings and extended family members of an adult with I/DD are welcome!
